Overview
With eyecare being important, T.O.P was created to help many older people in Texas by providing eyewear that is more affordable while making it easier for seniors to be able to receive it without having the need to travel far.
Approach
By starting this project, we wanted to think of ways to build how this pop-up was going to look and function. We wanted to bring in high contrasting colors to make it easier for our audience to read and see while making our logo have some characteristic to Texas. By thinking of our audience being much older, we thought it would be best to have mailouts as one of out touchpoints to let them know we would be coming to an area near them.
Exploring Trademark Designs
Research Process
With creating this Pop-Up service, we had to find where in Texas it would be most helpful and where eyecare and optometrists were most needed which can be seen on the map to the right.
Some of the problems we were able to find included…
Texas has over 424,000 adults, age 65+, who are legally blind
This area also has the least optometrists available and makes it difficult for elderly people to travel and receive proper eyecare
Big Bend Country area is the highest area with vision difficulty
How Might We

Creating the Pop-Up Bus
Since we're trying to optimize the space on the bus for this pop up service, we needed to strategize what would be included on both the inside and outside of this vehicle
